Thanks for reading my bio. I’m a lifelong Southern Baptist and have served the local church in some capacity for over 45 years. My experience in student ministry, music ministry, educational and assimilation ministry, satellite campus pastor, and administrative pastorate have drawn me to one singular conclusion; discipleship is the core task of the local church. It is hard, challenging, and resisted by many church members. Nonetheless, we have been called to make disciples, clear and simple. It is my joy to pursue this command of our Lord until He calls me home.
