After serving LifeWay for 30 years in various positions, I took early retirement in 2008. Since then I continued serving as the Lifeway Church Library Ministry Specialist. In addition, I served Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as Professor of Christian Education and director of the Christian Education Program and the Doctor of Educational Ministry Program. I retired in May 2017. Currently, I am the President of the Lifeway Retiree Fellowship and the coordinator of the Church Librarians Network. With Forest Hills Baptist Church, Nashville, I am the leader of the Enrichment Center Library and The Circle, our Sunday School class.
