My name is Jason Poor. I am an associate pastor serving at a small church in Carroll County Georgia. My responsibilities in the local church have given me the opportunity to learn about church culture, and to see where education fits into the ministry of the body of believers. Writing curriculum, teaching, preaching, administering programs are now a part of a system to help unbelievers come to Christ, and a major component in aiding Christians mature in discipleship. I believe that the call to follow Christ is synonymous with being a disciple of Christ, and that process stretches over time and diligence in the Scriptures, fervent prayer, and intentional discipleship with accountability.

I have served in three churches, and the fellowship I now serve is my first vocational ministry position. My wife and I have two daughters, who have made professions to trust Christ forever! We are thankful! God has been very good to us, and we want to serve our family, our church, and our community to make disciples that make disciples.
