Getting Involved in BACE
An educator comes to BACE with many possibilities of involvement.
First, they are part of a liaison group that represents the many vocational areas of Christian Education. These include:
• Educators in large sized churches
• Educators in medium sized churches
• Educators in small sized churches
• Educators working for state boards and agencies
• Educators working for denominational boards and agencies
• Educators working for colleges and seminaries
• Educators working for local associations of churches
• Educators working with non-Baptist denominational groups in the United States and international denominations
A liaison group creates a network of professionals. A BACE network provides support, information and inspiration to those in similar vocational areas. All Christian educators will be a part of one of these groups.
A second way in which a person can be involved in BACE is by becoming a part of a ministry team. These teams are designed to be purposeful. They include groups who meet for a short-time to serve a particular purpose, to more generalized groups that reach educators without regard to their liaison groups. These include BACE committees, such as annual programming, nominating, and the committees to recognize members in extraordinary service in the field of Christian Education.
BACE also is asked to perform training services on the mission field. A group of BACE members will become a mission team to fulfill these requests.
BACE also has ministry teams that form with people from all liaisons groups. These teams deal with specific areas of support and need. One such group is FaithSisters. Their purpose is to provide intentional connections for women who are serving in all aspects of ministry.
Become involved in BACE and expand your ministry and enhance your life.
