Make plans to join other Christian educators in Nashville. The Bible is the essential content of Christian Education and will be the focus of the 2011 BACE meeting. Every Christian should be free to read and interpret the Scriptures as led by the Holy Spirit, but his or her interpretation must be in harmony with the overall teachings of the Bible. Dr. George Guthrie from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, has been involved in the Biblical Literacy Movement and is author of a new book, Read the Bible for Life. His presentations will challenge the Christian educator:

to discover practical tools for improving  their Bible study habits

to foster a church culture that values personal, life changing Bible study

to implement a strategy for encouraging personal and corporate Bible study

to enables Christ followers to be intentional about their spiritual growth
